Our Partners
Our mission simply wouldn't be possible without our amazing partnerships with charities and schools. Currently, we have 5 partner schools in Senegal, Indonesia, Ghana and Kenya in collaboration with Classroom of Hope, Let's Build My School and St. Mary's College and Sixth Form, Hull. These charities build schools across various countries that we operate in. We then send your donations to the children in these partner schools. These partnerships are the lifeblood of our project and ensure we are reaching children who need it most.
Classroom of Hope
An Australian based charity, Classroom of Hope builds sustainable schools across many countries with one their most notable being Indonesia. Partnering with local organisations, their work has sustainability woven deeply throughout their purpose. Using innovative earthquake resistant blocks for construction this means that the schools are built to last. Classroom of Hope truly align with our values at The Pencil Case Project and a partnership that continues to flourish.
SDN 7 Jenggala- Lombok, Indonesia
Learners Supported: 75
Our first delivery to SDN 7 Jenggala was completed in May 2024, where we supplied 75 pencil cases to 2 classes. This school was damaged significantly by the 2018 earthquake that affected Lombok and Classroom of Hope rebuilt it, using their groundbreaking, sustainable and earthquake resistant recycled block solutions, which they used to build the school. Nestled, in the mountains of the Tanjung district in northern Lombok, providing stationery really helps to make an impact to these learners as it is backed by dense jungle and is difficult to access.
Al-Fatih Elementary- Lombok, Indonesia
Learners Supported: 75
Completed in autumn 2024, Al-Fatih elementary school is our second partner school alongside Classroom of
Hope. This school just like SDN 7 Jenggala, is built with the innovative block solutions by Classroom of Hope and Happy Hearts Indonesia. We provided 75 children with pencil cases and following feedback, we improved the sustainability of our pencil cases to fit with the work that Classroom of Hope does to reduce plastic pollution in Indonesia, a big issue facing the country. Al-Fatih welcomes children from local area in addition to children from across neighbouring islands like Borneo and Java.
Let's Build My School
An Australian based charity, Classroom of Hope builds sustainable schools across many countries with one their most notable being Indonesia. Partnering with local organisations, their work has sustainability woven deeply throughout their purpose. Using innovative earthquake resistant blocks for construction this means that the schools are built to last. Classroom of Hope truly align with our values at The Pencil Case Project and a partnership that continues to flourish.
Ndiaye Mouri Elementary- Senegal
Learners Supported: 55
Ndiaye Mouri school marked our third partner school but our first with Let's Build My School in Senegal. In association with the Monifieth Trefoil Guild, our joint donation drive saw 55 learners supported. With over 300 students, we hope to continue rolling our work out to the rest of the school in near future. In addition to the pencil cases, we were in a position to include additional extras such as mathetmatical calculators- a rarity that will enable children to get more involved in STEM.
Queen Florence Memorial Preparatory School
QFMPS- Assin Fosso, Ghana
Leaners Supported: 26
Queen Florence Memorial Preparatory School is one of our newest addition to our network of partner schools that we support. Based in Asin Fosu, Ghana, our first delivery of 26 pencil cases to their Basic 4 class, marks the first of many upcoming deliveries to expand our impact throughout the school. Established in 2014 to remember the founder's mum's non-linear journey to train to become a nurse, we are thrilled to be working alongside them to support their school community.
Kingston Junior Academy
KJA- Mombasa, Kenya
Learners Supported: 35
Our fifth partner school, KJA is based in Kilifi and was founded back in 2008 by Trevor Roberts, who was volunteering at an orphanage. This is a special partnership not only for the initial class of 35 we are supporting but also because it marks our partnership with St. Mary's College in Hull. As part of collaboration with St. Mary's working with staff, pupils and the wider community we are delighted to be supporting their pre-existing relationship with Kingston Junior Academy.
