The Pencil Cases
Central to operation here at the Pencil Case Project, is what actually goes into them. Each pencil case is specially packed with the utmost care and attention to what resources the schools we have partnered with need the most. We are also in a position where we are able to ocasionally give some additional extra shared donations to the classroom, like special rubbers, highlighters and notepads. Following feedback from our partners, we have made strides to make our pencil cases as sustainable as possible by using non-plastic alternatives such as wooden rulers and fabric pencil cases instead of plastic.

What is in a pencil case?
We aim to equip every child that receives one of our pencil case with all the tools that they need to succeed.
In a Pencil Case a child will typically receive:
2 Graphite pencils
1 ballpoint pens
A ruler
A rubber/eraser
A sharpener
An assortment of coloured pencils (3-4)
Sometimes we try to include a range of additional extras like highlighters, multicolour pens and other classroom accessories. Wherever possible we aim to be sustainable which is why following feedback we are now striving to use non-plastic alternatives such as wooden rulers and fabric pencil cases instead of plastic.
